Nicole is Back

Nicole is back and that is really cool. However many problems occurred while planning her return.

I went to see if I could get a haircut at regina's place but as I was pulling in she was pulling out. I went in anyway to see if someone else might be free. After standing there for five minutes I left to look for another place. Anyplace. I went to two or three places and all of them had a line that was going to take an hour so I skipped that idea.

I went to meijer to pick some things up for the night and quickly ran through got what I needed and went in line. I had 20 items so I had to go to a bigger line. I ran for the shortest one there was only two people in front of me and one had already scanned all her things through. Or so it seemed. After about ten minutes I noticed no progress had been made. Looking forward I overheard the problem. It seemed that two boxes of cereal were on sale but they were scanning in at the wrong price. Heaven forbid the granola cereal was a dollar more they sent a freckle-faced teenage bagger to go double check the price. When he got back he indicated that cereal she was purchasing was the wrong size even though the same kind as the one on sale. So she didn't buy any cereal cause 'that's not that great of a deal. A little frustrated and anxious as I was in a hurry I stuck out the line thinking those type of things only happen once in awhile, what are the chances of something else holding this line up. Needless to say I should have paid attention to the age of woman in front of me. After all her items were scanned in she very slowly reached for her pen and check book and started to write a check. I could have written a novel in the time it took her to get write the amount, date, and sign. So that quick trip to meijer took 4 minutes of shopping and 50 minutes of standing in line.

when I picked up Nicole I gave her a rose and we went to shop for a few things, then we made dinner and it was really nice. My expectations were not met because of my time crisis, but I got over it. I was happy she was home.

then I went to ross's bachelor party.
